What Can I expect from a CrossFit Class?

 

Your first CrossFit class can seem nerve-racking, intimidating and many people get put off just by the word CrossFit!  

Real CrossFit isn't just what you see on social media, strong ass men and woman doing crazy cool gymnastic moves and lifting unimaginable weights over head. 

In an actual class environment and especially at CrossFit Conditioning there is SO MUCH MORE!

See below the TOP 5 THINGS YOU EXPECT FROM A CFC CLASS! 

1. To be WELCOMED

Everyone will make you feel at home. The comradery from your others is pretty special - everyone knows how it feels to grind at the end of a workout or to achieve that first pull-up and they will cheer you all the way! You will also find yourself at a social event or two within your first couple of weeks - Train hard, play hard kind of crew!   

2. To be ENCOURGAED

It is the aim of our coaches to be able to get the very best out of you. You will be supported in every class with what weights you should be aiming to get or to progress on to a new move. You'll never be just another member or left to sail through, our purpose is to help you climb the CrossFit ladder and get that little bit better week on week!

3. To LEARN Something New

For many this is the best part of CrossFit! There is such a vast amount of different movements and the even ,more techniques there are to help you learn them. From your first Olympic Lift to your thousandth one there is always something new our coaches can teach you to improve!

4. To get a SWEAT on

Some of the rumor's ARE TRUE, and yes CrossFit workouts are going to push you to your very limits of fitness - but what's the point of spending an hour at the gym or paying for a gym membership if we're not getting the very most out of it! You will leave every class feeling like you've got a EPIC workout! 

5.  To feel ACCOMPLISHED

The moment that buzzer goes off and you get the moment of bliss where you lie on your back take some deep breath and think about what your awesome body just achieved is the reason people become addicted to CrossFit. We promise that you will more confident and so proud of yourself - or with 100% certainty we feel proud of every one of our members!
