Jordan Keirle

You may recognise Jordan from Fuel Cafe in Narrabeen! Jordan joined the CrossFit Conditioning crew in March 2022, and his gains in both strength and skill have been unstoppable!

Jordan really impressed the coaches in the most recent CrossFit Open, achieving his first muscle-up and a 60kg snatch!

You may see Jordan coming to the gym with his partner Ling who also trains regularly with us in Group Fitness. Outside the gym they love to keep fit playing tennis and getting out for a run or swim.

"During COVID, I was pretty inactive, and was eating a lot of junk. I gained a lot of weight, and felt lousy, which spilled over into my relationships and work. Since starting Crossfit, I’ve felt good everyday.

There’s a really nice mix of people who train regularly, and It’s been lovely slowly getting to know everyone. I like that the atmosphere is competitive, but also supportive. The coaches are awesome, it’s always a pleasure turning up to a class, no matter who is coaching."

Lauren Jones

Lauren joined CFC with husband Gareth during lockdown. Mum of three, dog parent, wine lover and our resident "Doc" - Lauren was an instant perfect fit to the CFC community!

Lauren's our top female Oly lifter, but we're most impressed with her dedication to improving her Gymnastics - which shone through in this year's open.

What started as Donkey kicks at the start of the year, ended in her crossing the 25ft handstand walking line at Quarterfinals! A true testament to "hard work pays off!'

"The CFC community is very special. It's pretty much the best part of my day no matter when I train. No matter how I feel when I arrive, I always feel better when I leave!

I love how my perception of what I'm capable of is constantly surpassed. I also love that I see my body for what it can do rather than for what it looks like and I hope to pass that message on to my kids."

Nick Kelly

Nick joined Freshstart in 2017 and then CrossFit in July 2021.

Nick is great to train with, super friendly and always brings the dry humor! CrossFit movements were a new world to Nick, but he’s embraced it all and now loves the Olympic Lifting classes and crushes every element.

Outside the gym Nick is a family man, spending all the time he can with his wife and three kids – generally meaning taxi of Dad!

“One of the biggest achievements for me after joining CrossFit is doing movement’s I would never have thought, like Handstand Push-ups, overhead squats or Snatch’s; with great coaches and a structured approach to progressing each movement, it’s been great to prove myself wrong.

I love the variety of workouts, the awesome programming as well as the great community in the gym. It’s great to have a supportive group to have a laugh with whilst keeping you motivated."

Natalie Schupbach

CFC is such a vibe, the trainers and members are so welcoming. In the past 6-month have participated in The Open, done the 8-week Weight Loss Challenge, lost 5.5kg and every week making progress in my training. If you’re looking for a challenge and to meet awesome like minded people CFC is the place.”

Amber Henderson

CFC is filled with the best motivation I could ever ask for in a gym!

I’ve made some really amazing friends, who I now consider family. Not only do I look forward to training with them every morning at 5am, I enjoy hanging out with them on the weekend whether it’s in the box or not. So glad I joined CFC when I did 2-years ago!”

Mike Carroll

CrossFit Conditioning has been the most welcoming family. Not only helping me achieve goals and smash through plateaus but genuinaly taking a personal interest in my training and investing in me to help me work towards being a CrossFit Coach.

Accountability, a friendly environment to train for all and good facilities. Whether you’re a total beginner to CrossFit or seasoned pro, if you’re looking to take your training to the next level join CFC.

Saskia Hyman

I love the variety, challenge and feel of CFC. As a Mum of two, CFC is a wonderful place to spend my “me time” and feel like I’m learning new skill, as well as improving my health and strength to be the best that I can be.

The trainer are welcoming, motivating and with a lot of experience, which makes me feel like I am in good hands. Everyone is so lovely and supportive in the gym and I feel grateful to be part of such a wonderful community!

“CFC has changed my perspective on training and life in general. I have always gone to the gym and exercised. I ran and did some group classes, but I was never one of those people that hung out in the weights because I didn’t have the knowledge and I don’t like training on my own. Through in CrossFit I’m never alone and there is always a coach to help you out.

My nutrition wasn’t that great either, I used to train to eat, now I eat to train better. When I started I couldn’t even do a pull up and I used to use the biggest band to get me through any pull up WODs. My first trial class consisted of Benchmark Workouts ‘Fran’, a 1.6km run, and ‘Diane’ and I saw all these amazing humans complete what seemed like an impossible task. I finished the workout ….. with scaling modifications and I was sore for a few days, but I thought to myself, if other people could finish the workout, so could I. So, I returned and kept coming back. Six years later I’m still coming back for more, the band has been removed and I’ve now been getting my first muscle ups!

Every work out is challenging and different which keeps me motivated. Through CFC I’ve learned a lot about training and nutrition. The community is great and very welcoming. It is part of my lifestyle now and I enjoy it every time I step in the box!”
